LicenseForge was built out of a personal frustration: choosing the right open-source license is deceptively difficult, and generating legally sound documents for a new project involves too much copy-pasting and guesswork. I wanted a single, clean tool that covers the full journey — from understanding what each license actually permits, to producing ready-to-use Privacy Policies and Terms of Service.

The entire platform runs in your browser. Your inputs are never sent to a server, no accounts are required, and nothing is stored. Fast, private, and free.
